Cantona set to make the Moves

News

Eric Cantona is set to continue his adventure into European indie cinema as he was confirmed in French director HPG’s new film Moves.

Moves, which will go by the rather more exciting name ‘Les Mouvements Du Bassin‘ or ‘Pelvis Moves’ on the continent, is described as a burlesque tragic actioner and sees Cantona playing a martial-arts student who connects with fellow outsider Marion, a dreamer who yearns to have a child.

It’ll be a family affair for Cantona, with Marion played by his wife Rachida Brackni, who worked with HPG (aka Hervé P. Gustave) on his last movie We Should Not Exist.

Moves is current in pre-production and filming will start this autumn.
